We all want to make a few extra bucks, and what better way to capitalise on a bad situation than to make it work for you. Storm Jonas hit New Yorks tourist industry bad, so some budding locals thought they’d come to the rescue. They built an Igloo and put it up for rent on the website AirBnB for $200USD (£140GBP) per night – bargain!
Its the first time the guys had the opportunity to build an Igloo.

Inside looks cosy, home comforts have been added, like lights and a mattress.
The igloo is built in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, walking distance of the area’s trendy bars and restaurants.
Sadly for any would-be customers, Air BnB has removed the listing now.
However, if you do fancy staying in an Igloo, you can always book a vacation to Alaska, or Scandinavia to stay in
an luxurious igoo.
